Great Smokey Mountain photo High-res version

Taking photos is so much fun! And sometimes you just get lucky. B and I were driving through the Great Smokey Mountains last spring when I took this photo. She was driving the car and I had an open window and a Nikon D70 pointed at the scenery as it quickly passed. We were probably traveling 45 or 50 mph. I am not a technically proficient photographer either! It’s hit or miss and mostly miss.

But you have to keep trying. That’s what it’s all about. This blog, for example, crashed and burned a few months ago. And here it is better than before with a new theme, Duet, by Theme Foundry. And I have also found that my blogging has improved since I gave up some of my bad habits. I only mention these things as an encouragement to those of you who may be dealing with adversity of one kind or another. Because it seems true that at the moment when things look darkest there is the possibility of the greatest change and accomplishment.

I have found this to be true. And so, I share it with You!
