ginter High-res version

Shortly after Christmas we went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to see the lights they put up every year. The cold wave that is upon us now had not yet arrived. So it was a great night with a bright moon and lots of folks were there. I took some photos but, at the time, was not happy with any of them. Now, I’m ready to try and make them presentable. I’m not sure why it works this way sometimes. Maybe it’s just disappointment that none of the shots are great. You have to get over that. Or, maybe, one just needs to be in the mood to edit. Whatever.  But one thing is for sure.  When you are wandering around in the dark taking photos look for a fence, a tree or anything to steady the camera or you will have no—-thing at the end of the night!

You can click on the photos for a full-screen slide show if you like.
